Hello everyone,

As I said in my last post I am going to be talking about a poem. This poem is very special to me and very meaningful.
If you can't read it it says:
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered:
 Forgive them anyway
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives:
 Be kind anyway
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies:
 Succeed anyway
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you:
 Be honest and frank anyway
What you spend years building, may be destroyed over night:
 Build anyway
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous:
 Be happy anyway
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow:
 Do good anyway
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough:
Give the world the best you've got anyway
You see, in the final analysis, it is all between you and God:
It was never between you and them anyway.

What I get out of this is two different ways of thinking. One way of thinking always do your best and never quit because God didn't quit on you and then number two. Number two is you forgive them anyway because the Bible not only tells you so but you should want to because Jesus did. Jesus was treated terrible and He was kind anyway. He conquered death, hell, and the grave and yet people didn't want Him to succeed but you see He did. People were dishonest around Him but He was honest and frank anyway. People tried to keep tearing Jesus down but what did He do? He kept building. He walked around with happiness and it may not say it right there in the scripture but in the Galatians it talks about the fruits of the spirit and how if you bear good fruits which are those fruits then you can tell if someone is a Christian. You knew Jesus walked through the streets in happiness because He was about His Father's business. People have often forgot Jesus died everyone. Not just the good people He bleed and died for the good and the bad and the cruel and the saints. The good He did on Mount Calvary that day is often forgotten throughout peoples lives. But He died anyway. He said even if it were just for one person to get saved He'd do it all over again. He gave the world His best! He gave them freedom and free will to follow Him. In the end it was for God to help save people. Without Jesus we wouldn't be saved we would be lost forever. It all comes down to you and God though whether or not you're going to serve Him or not? He gave you that choice.

I hope this blessed you!

Thank you for your time and God bless,

Kadesia Owens
